Job Description

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Operational Manager, who will take responsibility for ensuring the smooth running day to day operations of the hotel and assignments of the staff. Assist the General Manager in the development and communication of departmental strategies and goals, as well as performing GM role in her absence.

Work closely and communicate effectively with all supervisors and staff of all departments, provide regular directions and on-going information and status reports.

Ensure all staff is properly trained and have the tools and equipments needed to effectively carry out their job functions.

Have a deep understanding of guest needs in order to provide guidance to the staff and to ensure that our guests receive amazing hospitality at all times, that all staff are able to deliver service exceeding guest expectations and enhancing the guest journey at every opportunity.

Handle the internal control for Inventory.

Serving as Manager on duty when needed.

Follow sustainability guidelines and practices as per Omah Apik values.

Understand the organization´s financial performance and budgeting, as the Operational Manager will be directly responsible for contributing to the overall sales growth. Knowledge about preparing sales projections and expense budgets, and analyze profit & loss statements and balance sheets.

And as Omah Apik regularly hosting events of all natures, to organize and ensure the expectations for these events are fulfilled.

Understand the importance of a positive learning environment, by providing specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to the staff to ensure operational excellence and to improve individual performance. As a role model to the staff, the Operational Manager also need to be responsible for his own self-development.

Other requirements:

Preferably Balinese, or Indonesian that has been living in Bali for minimum 1 year, maximum age 40.

Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Verifiable experience in Hospitality Industry.

    I had handle Sangeh Uma Dong Loka Villa in Sangeh as Management (pre opening) 1,5 Years
    and at this moment i work in Akasha Villa Keliki as Villa Manager and up grade as Executive Housekeeper in New Earth Heaven after Akasha Villa and Akasha Restaurant blend to be New Earth Heaven. Helping Resident Manager handling OTA and guest as we still looking find GRO/FOM.
